Consultation process
The government consulted nationally on the new
Working Together guidance. There is a requirement that our
partnership arrangements comply with this guidance. The members of
the current Merton Children's Safeguarding Board were extensively
consulted about the proposed proposals, including through a task
and finish group and in full MSCB meetings. The three statutory
partners have been engaged throughout and the finalised partnership
agreement is recommended by the MSCB for adoption through the
governance arrangements of each of the three statutory
partners.
